Hallucination Date - 20th April 2017
When a friend and I first escaped from the warehouse (luggage carousel of death, this will link to the dream once published) I could not breathe and I had no legs to walk on, so I adopted the use of a robot mouse which was specially designed for such purposes.
The remains of my hip were connected to the feet of the robotic mouse via my remaining nerve endings. Using this system I could walk forwards and backwards with a stiff stepping motion.
The top of the mouse was see through, made from glass or perspex, and dome shaped like a giant capsule. It was filled with a pink viscous liquid with air bubbles throughout. The top of the capsule had little grey fluffy ears with pink inside them. To complete the ensemble, there were also 3 grey whiskers on either side of my nose where they should be. All in all this was vaguely reminiscent of a mouse, although what purpose these parts served I have no idea, apart from making it look more mouse-like.
There was a tube coming out of a backpack and running around near the front of the capsule. The tube was a silver grey plastic colour and ribbed, exactly the same as the ones you can buy in IKEA (pictured below).
The nearest IKEA to me is in Purley Way. If you’re in the vicinity why not pop in and buy yourself a few metres, at £4.50 per 5 metres you’d be crazy not to. And while you’re there why not also treat yourself to some Swedish meatballs or Hot Dogs, which are probably suitable for vegans or your pets as I’m not sure what they actually contain.
The only difference is that the tube for the mouse was sealed for the pink liquid to flow through. My friend and I could breathe using this liquid which filled our lungs.
There were other normal people walking around, but they took no notice of us as if we were part of normal society, whatever that is.
The robot mice walked quite slowly and stiffly, with a short stepping motion. Their legs were black and had no knees; they pivoted on their hip to move. I can picture this very clearly but it's probably hard for you to do so, or maybe not. Let me know in the comments; don’t be embarrassed to admit it!
We crossed the road using a special mouse crossing, like a pelican or zebra crossing. We also had helium balloons; one each.
I wanted a drink from the vending machines which were just inside the entrance to the tube station. I bought a can of Lilt but suddenly noticed my balloon had escaped from my hand. It floated just to the top of the shutters to the entrance, and I tried to reach for it but could not reach the string. Luckily the shutters started to close as it was midnight, so the ballon got pushed down and I could grab it once again.
I then walked towards the escalator with the balloon in one hand and a can of Lilt in the other. Quite how I was supposed to drink the can through the mouse attire is beyond even me. They had additional special escalators for robot mice with steps designed to carry us. I walked onto the escalator and went down towards the platform.
At that point my friend had disappeared, and I went further and further down into the dark on my own. This is all I can remember, as I must have woken up or gone into a deeper sleep.
