Sea Sign

H allucination date-18th May 2019 In this sleep-induced Imaginarium, I was in the company of a consummate artiste in a nondescript automobile whose primary purpose was the conveyance of sundry goods. The artiste was in charge of ensuring the vehicle’s continued onward advancing momentum. Powered by an internal combustion engine, it proceeded along the bumpy tarmac on its four wheels rotating in a forwards circular motion. Contained within the rear section of the automobile was an exquisite art installation. I was unsure of the exact nature of the art itself, but was sure it would delight anyone who beheld its magnificence. The artiste powered the automobile along the coastal avenue, parallel to the lapping sea waters against the small rounded rock formations which formed a beach. He chugged along past the metal and wooden boardwalk which jutted out into the twenty six mile channel of English and French seas. The coast was bereft of the usual sights such as the slush ...

Death Afterlife?

Hallucination Date - October 2016 In this dream, I had recently died and was in some sort of afterlife. I was floating around loads of circular tents. They were not dissimilar to the ones you often see in medieval jousting scenes, as pictured above. These ones, however, all had orange and red stripes with the addition of a small, red, triangular flag on the top, which was flying on a white plastic stick, the same as the ones you get commemorative flags on. There were no names on the tents but somehow you could just tell who they belonged to. You could choose which tent to fly into and relive their whole life, from birth to death. You could be anyone from history - Einstein, Leonardo Da Vinci, Christopher Columbus, Beethoven, Janette Smith, Florence Nightingale, a Stone Age person - or someone you knew, but not someone from the future whom you had never heard of. Obviously there were trillions of tents, but you could only choose one to go into. Once you had reached the end o...

Robot Mice

Hallucination Date - 20th April 2017 When a friend and I first escaped from the warehouse (luggage carousel of death, this will link to the dream once published) I could not breathe and I had no legs to walk on, so I adopted the use of a robot mouse which was specially designed for such purposes. The remains of my hip were connected to the feet of the robotic mouse via my remaining nerve endings. Using this system I could walk forwards and backwards with a stiff stepping motion. The top of the mouse was see through, made from glass or perspex, and dome shaped like a giant capsule. It was filled with a pink viscous liquid with air bubbles throughout. The top of the capsule had little grey fluffy ears with pink inside them. To complete the ensemble, there were also 3 grey whiskers on either side of my nose where they should be. All in all this was vaguely reminiscent of a mouse, although what purpose these parts served I have no idea, apart from making it look more mouse-like....

Brown Beauty

Hallucination Date - 9th January 2019 In this dream, I was a young teenage boy. I was walking along an arid landscape, wearing a wide-brimmed hat, light cotton dungarees, a cotton shirt and plain shoes; all in the same light grey colour. There were about 3 or 4 other older men wearing exactly the same outfits. To the right of me was a horse, very beautiful with silky short hair. It was brown all over, apart from a white elongated diamond shape on the front of its nose. The only thing it was wearing was a paper chain bridle that was made of gold coloured foil; the sort used for Rolo wrappers. I was walking the horse along holding on to this bridle. The whole landscape was desert-like, with no plants or trees, just rocks of the same colour. The rocks were irregular oblong shaped and fairly flat. They had been deliberately piled up on top of each other, five or ten high, in various square and rectangle shapes. The odd one was quite high - about a metre - and some had wells in the...

Hardcore Uproar

Hallucination Date - 29th March 2017 I was in a record shop called Wax City (this was a real shop, not the usual crazy figments of my warped imagination) in the beautiful West Croydon, just over the border from East Croydon, but luckily not too far in (just past West Croydon train station). To give you an idea of what it’s like, there was a hospital there called Mayday which was nicknamed Maydie. The owner was there, and he had his large pet iguana in the shop. It was draped across the records behind the counter. He did actually own the record shop and a large iguana, but kept it at home in a huge glass terrarium. The iguana, not the record shop. Wire frames held the 12in records in place, so you could see each one and be tempted to purchase. The frames looked exactly like the ones in this clip from Human Traffic; a very good film if you haven't seen it. For the record (pun intended), I'm not a fan of jungle. A friend of mine was there with his slammin’, vi...

Tripod

Hallucination Date - 13th February 2019 It was early one morning, and I was at the top of the bumpy track by Collie Hill Car Park (I realise only a few people will know where this is - you know who you are). Basically, it's a large off-road dip, which often has a large muddy puddle at the bottom. This is fun to drive through too fast in an old car such as a Green Escort MK1 or Red Ford Cortina MK2. Standing at the top of the track was a tripod from the 80s TV series, which I used to watch as a kid - tells you something about the sort of kid I was. There was a long black rope ladder hanging from the cockpit. My friend and I climbed up and went inside through the open hatch, pulling the ladder up behind us and closing the hatch. There were no aliens or humans present; it was empty. Inside was a dashboard with a few buttons and a handprint embedded in the surface. Presumably it was some kind of handprint recognition system, but it was obviously for aliens as it only had th...

The Lady in the Bullrushes

Hallucination Date - 18th October 2018 I was strolling along in a nature reserve on a bright sunny day. Beside me there was a small lake, and tall bullrushes - about 2 metres high - they grew on the dry ground all around it. (I know this is not botanically correct, as they usually grow in the water,) but this is a dream. I started to walk through the bullrushes and after a while came across a small clearing. As it was a beautiful sunny day, I lay down on my back on the grass and watched the blue sky, and the little fluffy clouds float past. A short time passed, and a beautiful lady walked into the clearing. She didn’t say a word, but walked over and sat on top of me and started kissing me. We were well hidden by the surrounding bullrushes. She lent over my face and I reached my head up and playfully nibbled her nose. At this point, I started to wake up but was still nibbling on something - it turned out to be my microphone with its sponge cover.

Chewing Gum Face

Hallucination Date -  March 2015 When I was first admitted to Draper’s Ward at RHN, I had a lot of hallucinations. Weirdly I never told anybody about them until recently. I used to chew gum quite often before this all happened, so this may help you to somewhat rationalise this weird experience. Note, this post is not describing a dream; I was fully awake while this was happening. People would come to visit me, but I never told them about the gum. When I arrived at Draper’s, I felt as if I had chewing gum in my mouth and that it spread down my chin, up to my forehead and over my cheeks like a spider’s web. It was a very unpleasant feeling, however, with each passing day the tendrils gradually became smaller and receded into my mouth; until eventually all that was left was the dry sticky chewing gum on the roof of my mouth. This happened over a period of weeks or possibly months. I think I didn't talk about it in case it made it worse again. Recently, I realised that th...
