Hallucination date - October 2016 When I was admitted to RHN in Putney, I was on a ward called Drapers. Usually patients are admitted to this ward when they first arrive at the hospital, as it’s an intensive rehab facility. Normally you spend three months there, but my stay was extended to six. There was a man there who used to constantly bang his shoe on the side of his bed, which would really annoy me. For the first few months, my arms were pinned tightly to my chest, and my legs were bent right up by it, so I was curled up in a sort of ball. I had many dreams and hallucinations around this feeling. One was that I was in a sponge cube and all the people visiting me were also in sponge cubes. We were all stacked up in a wall shape but could still talk to each other. During this time I was wide awake. In September 2015 I had a cardiac arrest. My brain was starved of oxygen for 20 mins, leaving me severely brain damaged. 16 months later I want to and am able to communicate my thoughts and hallucinations through this blog.
