Hallucination Date - 9th January 2019

In this dream, I was a young teenage boy. I was walking along an arid landscape, wearing a wide-brimmed hat, light cotton dungarees, a cotton shirt and plain shoes; all in the same light grey colour. There were about 3 or 4 other older men wearing exactly the same outfits.
To the right of me was a horse, very beautiful with silky short hair. It was brown all over, apart from a white elongated diamond shape on the front of its nose. The only thing it was wearing was a paper chain bridle that was made of gold coloured foil; the sort used for Rolo wrappers. I was walking the horse along holding on to this bridle.
The whole landscape was desert-like, with no plants or trees, just rocks of the same colour. The rocks were irregular oblong shaped and fairly flat. They had been deliberately piled up on top of each other, five or ten high, in various square and rectangle shapes. The odd one was quite high - about a metre - and some had wells in them, but most had nothing.
After walking for some time, I had to get on the horse and ride it. The horse was too high for me to clamber on and nobody would help me; they just stood still in silence, filled with expectation. So I walked over with the horse to one of the stone structures and reassembled it into steps on the right-hand side of the horse. I climbed up and tried to get on, but went right over to the other side, as the horse was so silky, and ended up with my left leg hanging down, the right on its back and both hands holding the Rolo wrapper paper chain bridle. The horse started to trot and I slowly began to slip off.
At this point the dream froze and I woke up. It was 4am and I was leaning over to my left, as in the dream, but on my back. I wanted to recount it for someone to write down, but I had one and a half hours to go until meds, and I was a bit jerky so would not be able to dictate without it getting worse. I called the HCA to reposition me, which they did, however I kept my eyes closed so I could stay in the dream long enough for me to remember the final scene. Although I was back in the dream, I was still wide awake.
Meds were a bit late because there was an emergency. I had them by 6am and then fell asleep almost immediately, as I had stayed awake for two hours. Two days later, I randomly remembered this dream in the evening and recited it to someone.
The dream itself was actually longer, with quite a bit preceding the beginning, but that’s now lost in my brain. If anyone wants to try and find it, then good luck!
