Hallucination date - 31st July 2018
A friend and I were in a pub in Brighton, and we were sitting on some wooden pub benches having a bottled beer. A girl with red hair - skinny, but pretty - said, “Can I sit here?” We naturally replied, “Of course,” and then we talked to her for quite a while. In the pub there was a semi-circle shaped balcony with old metal white railings, where there were more tables and people drinking. There was live music emanating from within the confines of the pub. The girl said that she was a bit chilly, and I dared to conjecture at this point, “it doth feel rather frosty for an autumn eventide!” I proffered to lend her my jacket, which she duly accepted with thanks. All three of us got up and left the pub with our beers. As we were walking, she became larger and I became very very skinny - like pinocchio, but without the nose! We walked up the road to a flat. She wanted to go in there to get something, and as she walked down the stairs she returned to her skinny self and I returned to a normal weight. At this point, as is usual in my dreams recently, everything started to slow down and freeze around me, and I started to wake up.
When I open my eyes, the dream fades, but when I close them I return to the dream at the faded state. This process takes around half an hour, which gives me time to recite it to a nurse.
P.s. Sorry the Shakespearean outburst, but it made us laugh so much we kept it in.
